	Camden Fire Department recognized for assistance and long history with Crawford Township VFD
	Chief Chris Dailey presented two plaques and framed picture collage of Crawford Township’s fire equipment to Camden Fire Chief Robbie Tarkington for their support and assistance in protecting both Currituck and Camden residents. The two fire departments’ history goes back to 1974 when Camden sold to Crawford Township its first truck for $1.00. Later, a second truck was purchased from Camden Fire Department for $250.00. Crawford and Camden entered into a mutual aid agreement that enhances the protection of both Currituck and Camden residents.
